With over 25 years of experience in human resources, I’ve worked with a range of organizations, from small startups to large global enterprises. But it’s small businesses that truly fuel my passion. After spending decades in progressively responsible HR roles, I made the intentional decision to step back and focus where I could make the biggest impact—helping small businesses like yours to grow and succeed.
With an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I have a solid foundation in business strategy and management, combined with extensive HR experience, enabling me to bring a comprehensive approach to your HR needs and challenges. Having worked in both for-profit and non-profit organizations across multiple industries, and having supported organizations through everything from major acquisitions to the nuances of benefits and compensation, I have a pretty amazing toolbox at my disposal and that's where you come in.
If you are asking why I'm focused on small business, it's a fair question. Only a couple of years ago, my husband and I started our own small business, Bay Driving Academy, a Behind-the-Wheel Driving School located in the North Shore of Milwaukee. Perhaps you’ve seen our vehicles around! I have insight and appreciation into the challenges and dedication required to build a successful business. My advice? Accept that you are not, nor will you ever be the expert in everything. Stick to your wheelhouse and select the right partners for the rest. You won't regret it.
